The Synergie Aesthetic Oscillation Therapy (AOT) device allows the Aesthetician’s hands to become the point of contact with the client.  If the circumstance dictates, the device’s probe can be utilized.  The AOT’s unique construction utilizes a non-conductive layer (vinyl glove for the hand or vinyl membrane for the probe) to prevent current flow, thus creating an electrostatic field between the hand/probe and the skin.  By quickly alternating the electrical polarity, a push-pull effect is created by attracting and repelling charged particles in the tissue. The resulting vibratory/mechanical action is highly effective in the treatment of the epidermis.  The aesthetician performing the treatment becomes an extension of the electrotherapy.  By incorporating manual techniques, the type of treatment can be tailored to the specific conditions and needs of each client.
